    Honorable Senators!


    The question before the Senate is whether it shall agree to the Bill to be read by the Clerk.


    Votes can be entered into the Records of the Senate by the Yeas and Nays. The presence of a member not voting will also be put into the Records if declared (Present).


    An amount of 96 hours without increment is reserved for the entering into the Record. Record will be closed on this motion in the discretion of the Chair, if a majority on the motion is reached or can not be reached.

    Voting Rights and Eligibility Amendment Bill
    An act to fairly amend the federal voting rights and eligibility.


    Section 1 - Amending the Federal Elections Act
    (1) Chapter II Section 1 des Federal Elections Act wird der folgende Absatz angefügt: "(3) Abweichend von SSec. 1 und 2 soll nicht wahlberechtigt und wählbar sein, wer am Tag des Beginns der Wahl keine gültige Citizenship Card (ID) für die entsprechende Ebene vorweisen kann."
    (2) Chapter II Section 2 Subsection 2 des Federal Elections Act wird wie folgt neu gefasst: "Verfügt ein Kandidat nicht selbst über die erforderliche ID, kann er auch durch eine zugeordnete ID unterstützt werden, die nicht selbst kandidiert; für die zugeordnete ID gilt Sec. 1 SSec. 3 entsprechend."
    (3) Chapter III Section 2 Subsection 1 des Federal Elections Act wird wie folgt neu gefasst: "Ein Wahlvorschlag für die Präsidentschaftswahl (Presidential Ticket) muss jeweils einen Kandidaten für das Amt des Präsidenten und das Amt des Vizepräsidenten umfassen. Keine Person darf gleichzeitig für beide Ämter oder auf mehreren Tickets antreten oder mit einer zugeordneten ID mehr als einen Kandidaten unterstützen."


    Section 2 - Entry Into Force
    Dieses Gesetz tritt gemäß den verfassungsrechtlichen Bestimmungen in Kraft.
