    Protection of Marriage Bill
    An act to admend the Freedom of Marriage Act in order to protect the instution of marriage .


    Section 1 – Amendment to the Marriage Act
    (1) Sec. 2 des Freedom of Marriage Act (Forms of Marriage) erhält folgende Ergänzungen:

    (3) Eine Ehe kann nur zwischen Mann und Frau geschlossen werden.
    (4) Beide Ehepartner müssen volljährig und geistig gesund, also geschäftsfähig, sein.


    Section 2 – Coming-into force
    (1) Dieses Gesetz tritt entsprechend der verfassungsrechtlichen Vorgaben in Kraft.
